Dominican Republic at the Paralympics : ウィキペディア英語版 | Dominican Republic at the Paralympics
The Dominican Republic made its Paralympic Games début at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona, with track and field athlete Rodolfo del Rosario as its sole representative. The country has competed in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, except 2000, but has never taken part in the Winter Paralympics. Dominican Republic delegations have never contained more than two competitors.〔(Dominican Republic at the Paralympics ), International Paralympic Committee〕 The country won its first (and so far only) medal when Robert Jimenez took gold in the men's 200m sprint (T12 category for athletes with severe visual impairment) at the 1996 Games. His time of 22.37s in the heats set a new world record.〔(Dominican Republic at the Paralympics ), International Paralympic Committee〕 ==List of medallists==
